I cant claim these to be a recipe I came up with – in truth I stumbled across these divine little creations from the awesome instagramer @nadiashealthykitchen. They combine my two favourite ingredients – Tahini and Chocolate and take next to no time to make.
I have tried it with other nut butters and its just as delicious and really worth experimenting with other flavours and textures you might like. As a general rule I don’t think crunchy nut butter really work as I find once cooled they often go a bit soggy.
The result is a fudgy chocolate sensation. Great as little chocolate cubes cut up as a treat or even as a top to a biscuit. Adding the Tahini will give it a wonderful calcium boost.
- 100g Dark Chocolate
- 100g Tahini paste
- a dash of maple
- Melt the dark chocolate and stir through the tahini paste.
- Add the dash of maple and taste.
- Pour the mix into easy to pop out silicone moulds or even ice cube trays would work.
- Set up in the fridge till firm and then pop out and enjoy.
- Keep in the fridge.
