Very easy and not even really a recipe but…
Simply toast your crumpets and spread with some tomato puree.
Then let your little ones choose their toppings (chopped up olives, salami, tomato, grated cheese) and then pop in the oven or under grill for a few minutes.
Serve with lots of fresh chopped up vegetables like carrots and cucumber.
Crumpets are obviously not the most healthy choice but sometimes its about having a bit of fun at a meal times and gluten free crumpets are just as delicious and better for them to digest.
Children love making things and are MUCH more likely to experiment with new flavours and textures when they have made it themselves.
